Tasting Notes

  • Aroma: Rich and sweet with nuts, toffee, honey, dried apricots and creamy notes. Soft citrus develops in the glass, with lemon and orange peel taking the edge off the sweetness. Spring meadow flowers float on top.
  • Taste: Velvety texture, with the citrus from the nose leading. Maltiness rolls in, along with runny honey, dates and prunes joined by soft floral notes.
  • Finish: Long, with dried fruit and dry nuttiness.
  • Comment: rich dram that balances sherry-matured whisky with lighter and sweeter bourbon casks.
